【TRIVIA】
Chado (the way of tea) was established more than 400 years ago in Japan. It was a spiritual discipline for upper class samurai and successful merchants at that time. It has continued without changing its fundamental form and style, and there are still many people studying and enjoying the culture worldwide. The concept of chado is based on Zen philosophy. The ritualistic procedure requires years of practice and discipline to master. Through the practice of chado, one can cultivate self-esteem, focus, discipline, and a sense of inner peace.
