Meet in front of "LEXUS MEETS" cafe in Hibiya, Tokyo. It is located at one of the vibrant spot TOKYO MIDTOWN HIBIYA.

We start this curious and mysterious tour from the spot at 15:00, then first we walk along some main streets of Ginza area. You will find some trivial and overlooked, however interesting things, shops, signs, etc.

After walking around about half an hour, we stop by the first bar and give you 2 tickets to quench your thirst and bite an afternoon snack.

You can make a choice by having 2 drinks, 1 drink and 1 dish or 2 dishes!

We leave the bar to do more off-street exploring and to know more about exotic Japanese culture.

Eventually we end at the second bar and give you 2 more tickets there to enjoy eating and drinking more!

So the first thing to say -is this is not a tour if you want to see temples and the like but don't let that discourage you. The best way to describe this tour is as a way to get to know the Ginza area. You will get some good opportunities for photos from the skydeck and see a hidden alley shrine but where it really shines is as an introduction to this vibrant neighborhood. The guides will give you a bit of the history of the area from its start as a post world war two black market to the place known for the most expensive real estate costs on the planet. They will take you into some shops you mgiht not have found on your own such as a wood block art shop and an auction house for samurai swords as well as cater the tour to your preferences. Looking for good ramen restaurants..they'll show you all the ones in Ginza looking for a place to pick up a bottle of Sake? ditto. And they will do all this in an environment where you feel you are more out with friends than a tour guide. In addtion the bar stops at the 300 yen bar are fun. The bar is a standing bar and is kind of a halfway point between the more western style bars and an izakaya plus serve great food and drink. I think this is a great choice for first timers and it offers a bit more free form tour that should make someone feel much more comfortable about navigating Ginza again on their own.
