I had a great time exploring and tasting the food from all these family run restaurants. Very traditional and homely feel to everything. I also would like to extend a special thanks to Yuko-san for taking good care of me an being an excellent tour guide. If you are a foodie like myself, and want to see a more traditional side to Japan then take this tour.

I really enjoyed this experience with the very friendly and expert guide Mr. Kazu-san. I was the only person signed up for that day, so it was a personal tour. He introduced me to many vendors along the street, visited their shops and small restaurants, gave histories of their businesses, and got to sample a wide variety of delicious foods. You will not walk away hungry on this tour!! I highly recommend this tour as you will see a slice of Tokyo most visitors miss out on.

This was such a fun (not to mention, delicious!) local experience with a very informative, knowledgeable guide! He also knew about the Japanese history and how it relates with the food. This tour begins with a bus ride with all kinds of locals to the Sunamachi Ginza area where you eat your way through the street trying Tempura, Yakitori, Oden, Odango, Japanese tea, etc. Not only is the guide well-read, but the local street vendors also have a lot of life experience they want to share with you. Overall, wonderful people and great food -- come hungry!

Great Tour and guide. Interesting to be shown the local food street and get an understanding of the products. Local shops were helpful and fun to talk to. Learnt about the many local desserts, enjoyed the products at the liquor store and thought the etiquette of not walking and eating was a great idea.

It was such a great tour! Our guide Hero took us to a street where multiple locals expressed their surprise to see westerns. It was very local. Everyone was very friendly and the food was very yummy and interesting and we learned a lot. Great experience for our family of 4!
