Prior to 1868, Tokyo was known as Edo, Japan’s political center where Tokugawa Ieyasu established his feudal government. In the year of 1868, with the Meiji Restoration, the Emperor moved here and Tokyo has been the capital of Japan since then. There are a variety of well-preserved historical and artistic architectures such as the Tokyo National Museum, Tokyo Imperial Palace and Asakusa. Tokyo also offers a seemingly unlimited choice of shopping, entertainment and culture as well as a number of attractive green spaces for visitors to explore. Once you spend a day in Tokyo, you will note the city's contrast between the old and new which yet somehow complements each other nicely. This is just one of a myriad of factors which makes Tokyo such a fascinating place to visit.
The tour begins with a pick up at your preferred destination and time within Tokyo's 23 wards between 8:00~14:00 (if you do not select a time, the tour begins at 9:00.) You will have 5, 8 or 10 hours to explore Tokyo before the driver drops you off at your selected location withing Tokyo city.

- Please note that any services outside Tokyo are not accepted.
- Please include your desired pick up / drop off point (within Tokyo's 23 wards only) and departure time in the 'Special Preferences' box at the time of booking. If you do not specify time, the tour will start at 9:00.
- If you choose to be picked up from Haneda Airport, please tell us your flight details at least a week before your tour departure.
- Please note that Narita Airport is outside of Tokyo and therefore not acceptable.
- Please indicate if large suitcase transportation is required
- Extension of the decided sightseeing time is not available
- Delays, shortenings of the tour or omissions may be made to the itinerary due to traffic, weather or other circumstances that are beyond the control of the tour operator are not subject to refund
- If the tour operator has to cancel the tour because of a typhoon, heavy snow or other circumstances beyond their control, this will be decided by 3pm the day before tour departure; you will be informed by e-mail and offered a new departure date or receive full refund
- Vehicles are collapsible wheelchair accessible, however the driver is unable to assist passenger boarding and disembarking. Wheelchair passengers must have a companion able to assist
- For a group up to 5 people, a mid-size passenger car (ex. Toyota Alphard or a similar class vehicle) will be arranged. Its maximum capacity is 3 people/3 large suitcases or 5 people/2 large suitcases
- For a group up to 9 people, a minivan (ex. Toyota HiAce) will be arranged. Its maximum capacity is 9 people/5 large suitcases
- English/Chinese-speaking driver is not a licensed tour guide and will not provide detailed guiding for the visiting spots
- Wearing clothes and shoes that let you move easily and comfortably is strongly recommended
