Stop At: Meiji Jingu Shrine, 1-1 Yoyogi Kamizonocho, Shibuya 151-0052 Tokyo Prefecture

You’ll encounter Japan’s indigenous religion, Shintoism, which is completely different from Buddhism. Walking in a forest for twenty minutes, You’ll find yourselves standing in the sacred stone-paved area, which is surrounded with wooden corridors. The sanctuary, made of wood without any paintings, symbolizes its respect for nature. Three million People come here to prey for their happiness on the new year days. You also have a chance to see a traditional wedding procession in the sacred area.

What to see in the crossing is not only quite a lot of people, but controlled mess which Japanese are very good at creating. You’ll join the crowd, jump up in the middle and rush to the opposite side without hitting others. You can observe the movement from the second floor or even from the 9th floor. In addition, you learn a good story about a loyal dog that kept waiting for his master in front of Shibuya Station, whose statue is just on the corner of the crossing.

You’ll have a panoramic view from the 52nd floor of the high-rise building, which is at a height of 200 meters or 600 feet. Walking around the observation deck provides a 360 degrees view of Tokyo, including new and old broadcasting towers: Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Sky Tree. You also have a view of Mt. Fuji if the sky is clear.
