Half-Day Aikido Martial Arts Lesson in Tokyo

After meeting up with your guide and interpret for the day, you will get to the dojo. The dojo (training hall) you are visiting is unique because it is used for lessons during the day, but it becomes a Japanese tavern at night.

Once you arrive at the dojo, your local host, an Aikido master, will welcome you. After a brief introduction, you will spend 1.5 hours on practicing the movements you can use for self-protection. You will be accompanied at all time by your guide and interpreter that will help you talk freely to your hosts. 

After the lesson, you will have 30 minutes to an hour to chat with the master and relax. This is a chance for you to ask him questions you may have about his life, Aikido or anything at all.
