Japanese Kimono Experience

Itinerary

In this program, guests are taught the many facets to formal kimono dressing. You will be dressed in a kimono or yukata (summer-style kimono) by a kimono specialist, who will advise you on the steps to putting on the kimono yourself. Guests are then prepped to take photographs in front of our traditional gold-leaf screen, and are afterwards welcome to take more snapshots and videos in any of the traditional areas in the vicinity of the building.

New for 2019, our Kimono Dressing Experience now takes place in our brand-new, state-of-the-art cultural experiences room, Grand TJT.
