This 47-foot Buddha statue is truly a sight to behold. Not only is it the second tallest of its kind in Japan, it has a fascinating history dating back 750 years. To see how it was made, duck inside and view it from inside.

This charming temple is built in traditional Japanese style with wooden beams and an ornate teak roof. Dedicated to the 11-headed god of Kannon, it’s a beautiful place to visit in any season, surrounded by cherry blossoms during springtime and red leaves in the autumn.
