Itinerary

1. Reception

The shop is conveniently located within 1 minute from Tawaramachi Station and 5 minutes on foot from the Thunder Gate of Sensoji Temple. Leave your luggage and travel light around Asakusa.

2. Choose a kimono

Let's choose kimono suits you best. Don't worry if you have never worn kimono before. The staff will help you select from among many. They speak English, Chinese and Korean and Japanese.

3. Dressing・hair arrangement

It's time to wear kimono! Dressed by the experienced staff, you will not feel uneasy in kimono. And your kimono will not lose shape. Your hair will be arranged with hair ornaments (free of charge) to suit you and kimono. There are various kinds of accessories such as bags and sandals.

4. Walking around Asakusa

Kimono will raise you up and make your walking more enjoyable Take a lot of pictures here and there for your memory of Asakusa. You have plenty of time for sightseeing as you can use the kimono until 17:00.

5. Return the kimono

Please come back to the shop and return the kimono by 17:00. We hope you enjoy the day in kimono!

  • Height requirement: Adult -130 cm and over, available up to XL size, Child - 125 cm and over
  • A group needs to make a reservation at least one week in advance of the intended tour date.
  • The last reception time is 16:00. Please return the kimono by 17:00.
  • You can go out wearing a kimono.
  • If the kimono is stained or damaged, the customer is to pay 20,000 to 150,000 yen.
  • For a child who is 125 cm tall and over, a yukata (casual kimono) is prepared.
  • Maximum 3 persons are dressed at one time. People in a group are dressed in order.
  • You can leave your belongings (except valuables) at the shop. After the walk, you will change at the shop and return the kimono.
  • Uchikake is worn only in the shop. The stock of Uchikake varies when they are out for TV filming. If you like to rent an Uchikake, please contact the shop beforehand.
  • Most travelers can participate
  • This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate
