About this activity
Guests will be gathering at either Kabukicho Police Station or in front of Cocoon Tower at Shinjuku Station West Exit. We will then depart and take Chuo Expressway, which stretches from Tokyo to Nagano Prefecture. Along the way spectacular view of mountains, lakes and rivers can be seen from bus window. Mt. Fuji will come into sight in one hour after departure.
First we will stop by fruit orchard in Yamanashi Prefecture. Here is fruits picking calendar to expect: strawberry from January to mid of May, cherry from late May to June, peach from July to August, and grape from mid August to November. Fruits tasting will be served as all-you-can-eat; please relish the seasonal fruits!
Next we will head towards Oishi Park located to the northern shore of Lake Kawaguchi, and this is a golden spot to overview both the lake area and enchanting Mt. Fuji in symmetry at the same time. Promenade is paved along the lakeside with blooming flowers of each season. When weather is fine, many photography lovers will show up from early morning to shoot the beautiful view of lake and flowers. It could be quite crowded! During sakura and autumn leaves season, we will visit Lake Kawaguchi Park instead of Oishi Park.
Lunch will be served with Yamanashi’s local cuisine Hoto noodle set that has a rather long history of 1300 years. Next take Kachi Kachi Ropeway to 1075 meters’ high mountain peak and enjoy the panoramic view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi from there. Besides, “Sky Bell”, “Rabbit Shrine” can also be found; another entertainment is to throw pottery for good luck!
Final goal will be Mt. Fuji 5th Station by driving through Fuji Subaru Line featured with radiant greenery and autumn leaves during different time periods. Upon arrival at Mt. Fuji 5th Station, there are souvenir shops, shrines that you can check out. The cloud sea view is just so heart haunting that could be an unforgettable part of this trip.
When returning to Tokyo, short break will be taken at service area. The trip will be ended upon arrival back to Shinjuku.
