Stop At: Misaka Farm Grape House, 656-1 Natsumehara Misakacho, Fuefuki 406-0804 Yamanashi Prefecture
Mt Fuji’s northern half is located in Yamanashi prefecture, which has the reputation of having Japan’s purest fruits growing in its soil. For the first stop, enjoy all you can eat and seasonal fruit picking! (Cherries in June, peaches in July, Grapes from August to November and Strawberries from December to May)

Stop At: Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine, 3353 Arakura Arakura Fuji Sengen Jinja and Chureito Pagoda, Fujiyoshida 403-0011 Yamanashi Prefecture
Next up is Fujiyoshida Sengen Shrine, a shinto shrine located inside a forest. At the entrance, pass through the torii gate marking the transition from mundane to sacred grounds and feel transported back in time when walking along the stone lanterns and cedar trees leading to the main hall dating back to 1615.
In the past, this shrine was used as a starting point for climbing Mt. Fuji from the north.

Stop At: Lake Kawaguchiko, Fujikawaguchiko-machi, Minamitsuru-gun 401-0300 Yamanashi Prefecture
Moving on from Fujiyoshida Sengen Shrine, you will have lunch around Lake Kawaguchi at Kawaguchiko Craft Park. At the restaurant, why not order Hoto noodles, the local dish from Yamanashi prefecture?
After lunch, try your hand at painting your own figurine of a character coming from traditional or modern Japanese culture that you can bring back home as a souvenir!

The last stop is Narusawa Ice Cave, a nationally designated Natural Monument. It is a 153m long lava cave with an air hole in a vertical circular shape, created after the outpouring of lava. There are ice pillars inside all year round. Walk around the circular cave, enjoying its various expressions.
