Photoshoot and Tour at Edo-Tokyo Open-Air Architectural Museum

Make your way to the entrance of Edo-Tokyo Open-Air Architectural Museum, located inside Koganei Park in Koganei City, Tokyo. After meeting your photographer/guide and get briefed on the tour course, let's get inside! (There will be a separate admission fee to enter the museum.)
As soon as you step on the grounds of the open-air museum, you'd feel as though you have wandered into the world of Ghibli Studio animation "Spirit Away", which is actually not a coincidence. Director Hayao Miyazaki has said that he got a lot of inspiration for the movie from the exhibited buildings at the museum. There are traditional folk houses from the Edo period, storefronts with an eclectic mix of Japanese and Western styles from the Meiji and Taisho eras, or even a classic tram from the Showa era. You will make stops at around ten of them to get pictures taken against some of the most interesting backdrops. The photographer is very much familiar with the museum, so If you want some tidbits about the buildings there, don't hesitate to ask her!
After the photo shoot is finished and saying goodbye to your photographer, you can continue to browse around the museum. There are also a restaurant and a cafe inside, so take your time and fully enjoy the fascinating time-travel experience!
