Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Musashi Ninja Clan Shinobi-Samurai Honjin Dojo, Japan, 〒105-0011 Tōkyō-to, Minato City, Shibakōen, 3-chōme−5−8 機械振興会館 B413

You change to our samurai training attire, and learn the samurai manners and customs to show respect and to handle swords.

First you learn a short sword technique. Then learn the long sword techinique: the authentic stances, and our kata (set of movemnts) which reuires the techniques of horizontal, vertical, diagonal cuts and cutting-up. Then try the entry level kusarifudo (chain and weights) shuriken techniques

The purpose of the training is to introduce the concepts of Shinshin Ichiyo (Body Mind Integration) and Fudoshin (unshakable heart) - in which the mind is not caught by any desire.

Though we can understand our goal intuitively, we cannot move our bodies properly without practicing technique.

The single sword brandish of shinshin ichinyo (Body Mind Inteftration) should be realized when one acquires a sense of extreme calm and enhanced concentration through experience.

Though short, we hope the training will give you a deeper insight into our shinobi samurai culture

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

It was a really great 90 min private lesson, I enjoyed it very much! There was a guy who was giving the training and a lady, who told me about the history of their clan and then interpreted the training. I put on the traditional clothes, was first taught how to bow, the lady explained me the history of the weapons, then I was taught to use a short sword, a long sword (katana), and then to throw some needle-looking weapon. They both were extremely nice and knowledgeable. And wearing the clothes and having the training in a real dojo creates an awesome atmosphere. I also got a lot of pictures and videos made by the lady while I was working with the trainer. I really recommed it!
