1 day
Full Day
About this activity
Get on the bus in Ueno or Shinjuku before heading towards the Mt. Fuji area. On clear days, you can already see Mt Fuji from afar during the bus ride.
The first stop of this tour is one of Japan's most iconic spots: Mt.Nikura Asama Park. This scenery captures the symbolic five pagodas and Mt.Fuji in the background, as often seen on postcards.
After coming down from Mt.Nikura, proceed to Kawaguchiko craft park to try your hand at some traditional Japanese crafts and not so traditional ones, right next to Kawaguchi Lake. If you prefer, you could just have your lunch and walk around the lake for a scenic view of Mt. Fuji and its reflection on Lake Kawaguchi.
Later, visit the next scenic spot Oishi Park. This offers a seasonal scenery of various types of flowers with Mt.Fuji in the background. A truly satisfying spot for all the social media buffs!
Finally, stop by Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba which is located on the banks of Lake Saiko. This village has several houses with thatched roof and one can get a glimpse of life in Japan in the olden days. Walk around this village with the scenic Mt.Fuji in the background.
The tour will conclude at 6:15 PM when you will be dropped off in Shinjuku.
