As soon as you open the door, you will be surrounded by a mysterious yet soothing atmosphere, created by lapis-lazuli-blue lighting and a rich incense scent. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with a complimentary drink from a selection of Buddhist-inspired cocktails.

After you're given a brief introduction to the practice of shabutsu and the overall process, let's get started on your shabutsu experience! At first, you might get a bit intimidated as the Buddhist images look quite intricate, but need not worry! It's super easy even for first timers as you simply have to trace over the outlines of the image underneath. When you focus your mind on each stroke of the brush, you'll start to find yourself at complete peace, creating a perfect opportunity to reflect on yourself, as well as to renew your appreciation for others.
