Tea Ceremony Experience on a Boat including a Kaiseki Cuisine Bento
1h30
About this activity
This is a Japanese tea ceremony (Sado) experience on a boat reproduced in a modern style.
You can experience a traditional cultural experience in Tokyo while gracefully floating down a river.
There are two courses that you can choose from: the Nihonbashi course or the Asashio Course.
For the Nihombashi course, the departure will be from the Nihombashi port and you will take the Nihombashi River downstream. Then head toward the Tokyo bay along the Sumida river while enjoying some Sake and Kaiseki cuisine with a great view of the Rainbow Bridge. Once you arrive near the Hamarikyu garden, you will experience a tea ceremony while also passing by the Tokyo Tower before returning to the Nihombashi Port
For the Asashio course, you will depart from the Asashio port and take the Asashio canal towards the Tokyo bay. Once you hit the Tokyo Bay, you will enjoy some Sake and Kaiseki cuisine with a magnificent view of the Rainbow Bridge before heading closer to the Hamarikyu Gardens when the tea ceremony will begin. During the tea ceremony, you will pass an area with a good view of the Tokyo Tower. Then, as the tour comes to a close, you will enjoy boating on the Sumida River towards Tsukudajima Island before heading back to the Asashio Port.
