The Omiya Bonsai Art Museum is the world’s first publicly run museum dedicated to bonsai art.
It boasts a collection of more than 120 bonsai masterpieces and bonsai-related artifacts such as bonsai pots, miniature landscape stone called suiseki, books and woodblock prints, etc.
Appreciate a variety of Bonsai and learn the history.

In 1925 Omiya Bonsai Village was established as an self-governed community of bonsai gardeners. At its height, in 1930, around 30 bonsai gardens were a part of the community. Even now Omiya Bonsai Village is known for its bonsai masterpieces attracting enthusiasts not only from Japan, but from around the world.
Now there are 6 nurseries in this area. We will visit some of them and enjoy various Bonsai at each gardens.

Visit the world renowned bonsai master Kazuhiko Kimura's Bonsai garden. He has been awarded a lot of prizes and some people call him a god. Also know as a keynote demonstrator at the 8th World Bonsai Convention in Saitama.
