After reading the tour description, my boyfriend and I were very excited to tour the Tsukiji Fish Market with a local guide and sample some food. We met with the tour guide and first toured (walked in and out) of the Tsukiji temple located next to the Market. Following this, we walked behind him through the market, with little discussion/description of what we were seeing. During the 'tour' we did not stop at any of the stalls and we were not provided with any samples. When I expressed interest in one stall, he said OK but when it was clear it was going to take a few minutes, he said let's keep going. Overall, very disappointing tour. No different than walking around the market on your own.
