The hop on hop off bus worked out great the driver was especially good at making a couple of photo stops and waiting for us to get back on the bus so we didn't have to wait 20 minutes or so for the next bus when we only wanted to take a quick few pictures. The commentary on the bus worked well too, except when a detour had to be made because of closed roads. The Alcazar Museum guide was excellent and when we had questions, he took the time to explain. We enjoyed our free glass of wine and tapa at the end of our tour!
Enjoyed ride around, the city. A little short. Good place to start your sight seeing of Toledo
While this tour didn't go into the inner city we got amazing views as we toured around the city and saw all of the vistas, we were able to hop off right by the escalator that took us up to the city where were able to walk around, It was late October and quite chilly so make sure you have a scarf and jacket.
Essentially a walking tour as the centre of the old city doesn't take buses. It pays to pre study some history as Toledo had a critical role in the assimilation of much western knowledge. Worth it just to see El Entierro del Conde de Orgaz by El Greco.
