At a time of your choice, head to La Castafiore, an atmospheric Madrid restaurant tucked away down a little alleyway in the center of town. The intimate and cozy eatery specializes in traditional cuisine, served by opera-singing waiting staff.
Take a seat at your table and enjoy a 4-course opera-themed banquet with wine, while enjoying zarzuela – a satirical style of Spanish opera peppered with dialogue and powerful songs. Even if you don’t understand the language, the music is inspiring and instantly recognizable acts from classic operas like La Boheme are included, too.
After enjoying dinner, sit back to listen to the grand finale of your evening, a rendition of an act from La Traviata – the world-famous Italian opera by Giuseppe Verdi.

This tour was amazing!
Fairly enjoyable evening. Singing was all in Spanish so we did not get the gist of the comical Spanish songs. Food was average.
We loved this dinner and experience. A must go!
This was a fun evening out in Madrid! The talent was amazing and a fun way to experience opera. The staff was wonderful and very attentive, especially Marie. I enjoyed the food there were plenty of options to pick from- I had Hake and there was plenty of it. It was a weeknight when I was there so it was not very busy and I was the only English speaking guest there I was traveling alone but everyone made me feel included and we had a great time. I took the metro to and from the restaurant and felt safe doing this, even on the way home when it was dark.

Unique experience to spend an evening with the locals enjoying good food and hearing beautiful, talented singers. I believe we were the only English speakers there but one waitress who understood English, took great care of us. When the dinner and singing was over, the audience and the singers formed a conga line and the party began. Every one was just warming up when we left at 12:30. This was a night we will remember as a highlight of our trip.
Nice meal but what a lovely night out. Waiters so friendly and locals made us feel really welcome. Excellent night out.
