Stop At: Toronto Urban Adventures, 25 Cole St Unit 615, Toronto, Ontario M5A 4M3 Canada
Want to know what local Canadians do during the winter? Ever wanted to catch a live ice hockey game? Aren’t sure of the rules? Well this tour is for you!
Duration: 4 hours
Pass By: Liberty Market Building, Liberty Building 171 East Liberty St Unit 218, Toronto, Ontario M6K 3P6 Canada
This Toronto pop-up tour starts at great local pub in the city’s hip Liberty Village. There, you’ll meet up with your local guide and grab a pint of craft beer (or other beverage of your choice), and we’ll discuss the history and rules of Canada’s game! Your guide will also provide you with a map and general orientation of Toronto and Canadian culture. (Note that for early games, we’ll go to the pub after the game.)
Stop At: Canadian National Exhibition, 210 Princes Blvd, Toronto, Ontario M6K 3C3 Canada
Make sure to bundle up and dress appropriately as the Canadian winters can be quite frigid… but that’s just part of the fun and experience!
During the game you will be able to cheer the home team while immersing yourself in Canadian culture with a local guide by your side to answer any questions you may have. You’ll also get to try a few Timbits — a Canadian spin on the classic doughnut.
After the game, you’re free to continue partying and celebrating the afternoon or evening away in Liberty Village, which has lots of great bars and restaurants to choose from!
