Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Day
Stop At: The Big Apple, 262 Orchard Rd Exit #497 Off Hwy 401, Colborne, Ontario K0K 1S0 Canada
Lunch stop at The Big Apple in Colborne. Get your camera out! This is a very exciting stop with lots of wonderful things to do, and one-of-a-kind snacks and souvenirs to pick up for the trip.
Duration: 40 minutes
Stop At: Sandbanks Provincial Park, County Road 12, Picton, Ontario K0K 2T0 Canada
Camp setup
We will take a short hike to Dunes Beach to experience the legendary sand dunes, go for a swim, or to sit on the beach.
Dinner
Campfire (weather-permitting)
Duration: 10 hours
Meals included:
• Dinner: Dinner will be a home-made gourmet vegetarian meal cooked at camp...
Don't forget S'Mores (weather permitting)
Accommodation included: Campers will be sharing 1 large tent with another guest. If you have a preferred tent-sharing partner, let us know
Day 2: Sandbanks Exploration Day
Stop At: Huff Estates Winery, 2274 County Rd 1, Bloomfield, Ontario K0K 1G0 Canada
Campers will have the option of attending an inexpensive wine tasting at a local vineyard which also hosts gorgeous outdoor art exhibition
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Sandbanks Provincial Park, County Road 12, Picton, Ontario K0K 2T0 Canada
Get out on the quiet lake. Campers will have the option of renting a canoe/kayak within the park at their own expense
Duration: 1 hour
Meals included:
• Breakfast: Campers wake up to a selection of toast/bagels, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, oatmeal, etc.
*Please make us aware of allergies
• Lunch: Lunch consists of a sandwich spread (deli meats, veggie meats, veggies; gluten-free alternatives available upon request)
