BIKE TOUR - Trapani Center : History, Tradition and Culture

We will leave at the scheduled time.

Entering the alleys of the old town, we will reach our first stop, the Ex Piazza Mercato del Pesce. Here, we will give you an explanation of the origins and history of Trapani.

We will continue through the old walls of Tramontana, to the furthest point of our Tour: the Tower of Ligny. From there, we will slowly begin the return through the central Corso Vittorio Emanuele, home of the Cathedral of Trapani.

Beyond the Cathedral, we will also visit the adjacent Church of Purgatory, where the 20 wooden statues of the Via Crucis are kept. These statues are carried on the shoulders of the devotees, during the Easter procession of the Mysteries which each year attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world.

After the visit, we will return to the base for the end of the tour.
