Running along the blue of the sea, you are dazzled by a blinding white: the saltpans (Saline).
A stop at Mulino Maria Stella (windmill) to proceed towards the reserve. Your driver/escort will guide you during the walk through large water mirrors and canals, heaps of salt that look like pyramids and windmills. In the sunset, the show is even more beautiful. The Reserve was born in 1995 and it is managed by WWF Italia.
It represents an important habitat for plants and many species of migratory birds such as the pink flamingo and the white heron.
