Private Tour of Bressanone Christmas Market and Novacella Abbey from Trento

The Bressanone Christmas Market is one of the five original markets taking place in Christmas time. After being picked up at your hotel, the drive from Trento to Bressanone will be around 1 hour, 10 minutes. Once you arrive, the tour starts at the central square of the city; the Piazza del Duomo and the dome of Bressanone itself provides a perfect ambiance for this event. 

Adjacent to the Cathedral, you will be able to visit the Cloister with vaults of the 14th century and magnificent frescoes either of the 14th or of the 15th century, which show the development of medieval art. You will admire the 230ft (72m) high Gothic tower of the St. Michael parish church, as well as the double towers of the cathedral the landmark of the city of Bressanone. Due to its clear, bricked tower-roof, it is called the White Tower.

The tour will then continue to the Augustinian Canons Regular monastery of Novacella/Neustift. The 800 year-old monastery is set in picturesque surroundings nestling amid vineyards and orchards in the village of Novacella. The pretty gardens and the atmospheric monastery wine cellar are perfect places to relax in and savor peace and quiet. 

The tour will concludes with a drive back to your hotel in Trento.
