Lake Bled and Ljubljana Tour from Trieste

Glad we visited area as was lovely However our guide seemed very rushed and did not keep on schedule He gave us no opportunity for eating lunch which was supposed to be at one of the stops and then delayed our return by stopping to eat himself while sending us around Ljubljana on our own No water was provided and not instructed to purchase any on our stops--we thought we could get some at lunch My husband and I were the only English speaking people on the tour with 4 Italians and more description was given them Guide also spoke of himself almost more than describing landmarks

This tour to Lake Bled and Ljubljana was wonderful! Our tour guide was knowledgeable and did not rush the trip in any way. He allowed us to tour Lake Bled and spend some time enjoying the beautiful scenery. This was absolutely my favorite tour; the same with Ljubljana. If you're in Trieste, I highly recommend this tour. It was well worth the day trip!

Our guide was excellent by all means. He has a lot of knowledge about Slovenia. Very good driver also. Good manners and language . He offer free time too, so you can do something else out there. A good adviser about what to visit and eat. Really a very good experience that I recommend to everyone.

We had Miro, who picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel in Trieste. We went to Bled first where we received free time and my wife and I took the boat out to the island for 15 euro each, totally worth it! The island has gelato at the top and the views are one of a kind. We then went to Ljubljana where Miro gave us a guided tour followed by free time. I got some souvenirs here and Miro had excellent recommendations throughout. Truly a great experience!

This is a fabulous tour! Our guide Barbara was super friendly and engaging. She shared really interesting information about Slovenia from basic facts to personal experiences to political and social issues.This made the tour extra amazing because she was so open and personable. Barbara also gave us flexibility in Both Bled and Ljubljana to spend the time how we wanted. I would recommend this trip to anyone. Both cities are stunning and the Slovenian people are so fun and friendly. The food is also AMAZING, especially the Bled cream cake...wow! Ljubljana is a hidden gem for foodies and crafty people....so many cute shops and really modern restaurants combined wit traditional farmers markets and food stalls I definitely need to go back!

Our female Sloveian guide/ driver was excellent. Picked us up from our apartment and brought us back to it. Very comfortable ride there and back, and plenty of free time to wander.

Ljubljana was spectacular. The town isn't overrun with tourists and our guide was very knowledgable about the history and development of Ljubljana. Much of the old town remains and the walking tour touched on many of the sites. Lake Bled was an Alpine wonderland of natural beauty. Side treat, I'm a SJ Sharks fan and we visited the ice skating rink where LA King's captain Anze Kopitar played before joining the NHL.

This was a nice tour. Turns out there were only the 2 of us so it was like having a private guide, and he was very knowledgeable and personable. It would have been nice to have some free time in Ljubljana, to perhaps visit the castle or a museum. It would have been nice to have more time in Lake Bled as well, so we could have taken the boat ride to the island or gone up to the castle. The time frame of the tour could have been changed--earlier pick-up, later drop-off.
