What to Expect
We will meet a the cruise terminal or other preferred accommodation in Trieste and head directly to Ljubljana. A ride in a comfortable up to date clean and air conditioned van/car takes about 1 hour. 
On the way trough a beautiful Slovenian land your English speaking driver will introduce you our country in terms of history, politics, facts and other interesting things.
As we will arrive to Ljubljana you will be dropped off in the heart of the old town at the best starting point to explore this amazing capital on your own which is definitely one of the best ways to really experience this destination.
Whether you will take a funicular up to the medieval castle with some amazing views or just walk the streets of the old town by the Ljubljanica river you will fall in love with this charming and one of Europe`s smallest capitals.
Or maybe you can choose to have a nice tasting of some Slovenian food and wine at the local market. This beautiful fairytale town will definitely leave you speechless with its charm and beautiful energy.
After approx 2 hours which is more than enough to experience this one of the Europe`s smallest capital we will meet again and head back to Trieste in a 1hr comfortable and relaxing ride. If the whole group agrees and there is enough time according to your ship we can stay longer but never less than 2 hours which is enough to get to experience Ljubljana the way it deserves to be.
If the group agrees we can also make a reservation at a local traditional Slovenian restaurant with some authentic Slovenian food and great wine at affordable prices so you can experience our beautiful country as well trough the taste.
After we come back to Trieste you will be dropped of under your ship or your another preferred location.
