About this activity
This dog sledding tour starts with a pickup from the Scandic Ishavshotell in Tromso.
After a 25-minute drive, you´ll reach the husky farm where you'll be suited with all the equipment you need (a warm suit, mittens, boots, and head lamp).
Once you're comfortable and ready, your guide teaches and shows you how to control the sled. Then when your feel confident to ride, take off into the wild. Alaskan huskies loves to run and with six pulling you along through the snow-covered ground, you're sure to have a fun time.
When your tour is over, gather in a big tent where you'll be served coffee, tea, and home-made chocolate cake before getting dropped back at the Scandic Ishavshotell.
