On arrival at the cruise departure point, hop aboard the boat. Using the most up-to-date meteorological data, the boat finds the best spot for viewing the lights. With luck, you might catch a display. Sightings can never be guaranteed, but the minimal light pollution will boost your chances of seeing the lights.
After roughly four hours, arrive back at the original start point where your tour concludes.

The best thing about this cruise is that we saw the lights! The operators were friendly and helpful and were focused on our safety and comfort as we cruised the harbor looking for the lights. The boat was mid sized with a bathroom and a hot tub. There was plenty of room on the lower deck to set up cameras and tripods or just sit and enjoy the views. Inside the cabin there was an area with hot coffee, tea and cookies. The only thing I would change is to have more food and beverage options. Tromso pretty much closes down when you return and the only thing open was a mini market.
