The Fellowship of Light - a small group northern lights chase

Expect the unexpected :) Every tour is different and even that we do have our favourite scenic locations that we aim to go to, ultimately the sky decides where we need to drive. Sometimes we must drive long distances (150km one way) and sometimes to wild nature areas (read: limited or none access to bathrooms). Sometimes the northern lights will give a crazy dancing show all over the sky, and sometimes they will softly glow over the horizon. Sometimes we stay in one spot for hours under the stars, and sometimes we need to chase gaps in the clouds. Adventure!

The priority on the chase is given to finding clear sky, as only then can we see the northern lights when they appear. Next in priority is driving away from light pollution and finding scenic spots for best viewing experience. 

We help you with your camera settings and also take professional pictures for you - we send them by email. After the tour we drive you back to Tromsø - hotels and airbnb drop off on Tromsø Island.

P.S. We drive into Finland if necessary so remember your passport!

Included: Guide, transport, snowsuits (please provide your size), soup and bread, hot drinks, campfire, reflective vest, tripod (please order if you need one), pictures from the tour by email, drop-off at your accomodation on Tromsø Island (+Tromsø Camping)

Departure time and place : 6pm* in front of Scandic Ishavshotel (Fredrik Langes gate 2, 9008 Tromsø)

*Departure time between 11 March - 10 April 2019 is at 7pm!
