3 FULL DAYS Birdwatching WINTER tour in Dobruja - Romania, starting from Tulcea

We are based in Tulcea, in North Dobruja. Participants should arrive in Tulcea the day before the first birding trip. You can reach Tulcea by train, bus or private transfer. Once in Tulcea, call us and the guide will escort you to the hotel, for check-in and a short meeting, to inform you about the program for next day. 3 nights Bed and Breakfast in a centrally located hotel is included in the tour. On every day trip, we can start (and we recommend you to agree the departure hours) very early, to be in the good places at the sunrise. Is not to difficult because the sunrise in winter is around 7:00 AM. We'll have a day targeted on forest birds, a day on marshland and field birds and a day on sea shore birds. Our guides knows the places very well, we use good vehicles so we can show the best places in the area. Even if we use a vehicle, some walking is also included in the tour so please be well equiped for a light-medium trekking. The guide will provide you with a checklist and notebook, he will be equipped with a spotting scope available for participants, and there will be bottled water in the vehicle (also we can provide medium range binoculars if needed). Lunch have to be packed (not included in the price) because in the area are not too many options and the day is short, it will be better to use the daylight for birding.
