Danube Delta selfguided CANOEING, 3n4d program in Mila23

The program:

Day 1: You'll meet us at Port Aval - Tulcea, at 16:00 hour (16:00 meeting and check in, 16:30 departure), from where we will take you to Mila 23. You will travel by boat, through one of the most beautiful parts on Danube Delta, on the route Canal 36, Sireasa Canal, Sontea Canal, Olguta Canal, Old Danube Canal, Mila 23 village. You will be checked in at very nice three star resort.

In the evening you'll taste a traditional fish meal (please notify us if in your group are people who do not eat fish)

Days 2 and 3: In the morning, after breakfast (8:30 am), our instructor will give you the canoe, a map and informations. You can choose between two half day tours, or a full day tour.

The starting hour is not fixed, you can also depart at sunrise (or before), a canoe tour in Danube Delta, at sunrise is a privilege that only few can afford.

In the evening, you will return to the comfort of our resort, take a shower, eat a good meal then share stories, outside, with a glass of wine.

Day 4: After breakfast (8:30 am), we will be heading back to Tulcea (9:30 am), with a motor boat, on a very nice route. Around 12:00, you will reach Tulcea, disembark, and set our next meeting date.

Accommodation in Danube Delta, at Mila 23:

You will be checked in a small a cosy three star pension, with double rooms, each with their own bathroom. Our package includes 3 nights stay.

3 out of the 8 rooms have 3 beds, a king size bed and a single bed, 5 rooms are double (2 with double bed and 3 twins). These rooms are proper for families with children.

Meals:

Hlafboard included (breakfast and dinner). All meals included in our offer are based on meal of the day system. That means our host will consult everyone in the morning, on the menu for the day. You cannot order other dishes after you have been seated. Please let us know if you cannot eat fish or if you are vegan.

The canoes we will use for touring:

Are of the best quality, made by a renowned company (RTM, Danube Delta, Pelican) . We have prepared both, beginner canoes (wider and easy to use) and canoes for the experienced (somewhat narrow but much easier to use).

Equipment you must have:

• Seasonal clothing, sun hat is a must, long sleeves so the sun won't harm you, warm clothes for the morning and evening. Also a must have are thin waterproof clothing
• Sunglasses, preferably polarized
• Sunscreen
• Mosquito repellant
• You can take with you hydration drink, juice, energy drink (but not RedBull; athlete variants only)
• Waterproof protection for your phone and camera.
