Private Tour to Muyil Ruins, Tulum, and Coba from Tulum
This action-packed day of visits to three of the most important archaeological sites on the Yucatan Peninsula begins with a pickup from your Tulum hotel at 8am. Board a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan and drive for about 30 minutes to the UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site of Sian Ka´an biosphere.
Follow your private guide and keep your eyes out for birds, butterflies, and other abundant wildlife during a short walk to the Muyil ruins located in the reserve. Small and lush, the ancient site of Muyil was an important religious center dedicated to the Mayan moon goddess.
Continue to the restored ruins of Tulum, the archaeological site considered to be the most beautiful icon of the Mayan culture in the Mexican Caribbean. Enjoy spectacular views of the ruins on the white-sand beaches, and relax over a buffet lunch of traditional Mexican dishes. After lunch, drive to Coba; an ancient Mayan urban center surrounded by rain forest, lakes, and cenotes. Walk under the trees and observe exotic birds and other animals, and climb the tallest pyramid in the Mayan Peninsula for beautiful panoramic views.
The tour concludes around 6pm, when you're delivered back to your hotel.
