About this activity

Visit the charming historical center of Turin and walk through its main historical squares. The squares that you will visit of this tour will include the Piazza Vittorio, the largest square in Europe, Piazza Carlo Alberto adjacent to the most important museum of the Risorgimento and Piazza Castello, which lies at the heart of the city. Later you will have the opportunity to tour the inside of the imposing Mole Antonelliana, which now houses the National Museum of Cinema.

The Mole Antonelliana is the one of the famous monument symbols of Turin. The building is home to the first museum of cinema in the world, as well as a panoramic point of excellence. In the museum you will have the chance to visit some areas devoted to the different kinds of film categories. Then in main hall there are a series of small rooms representing a variety of film genres. The museum houses pre-cinematographic optical devices such as: magic lanterns, earlier and current film technologies, stage items from early Italian movies and other memorabilia.
