Your tour will start from your pick up and you will be driven to a small estate situated in Alba, right in the heart of Barolo region. The winery is one of the most respected names in Barolo and its wines are renowned for both the quality of its production and the exceptional terroir. This quality comes from its exceptional vineyards which feature four of the greatest crus in Monforte: Ginestra, Bussia, Pajana and Mosconi. The owner, Domenico Clerico, is one of the key proponents of the modernist movement in the wine making process of Barolo, creating more round, fruity wines. You will be given a personal tour of this modern winery with a wine expert. You will walk you through cellars where you learn about the winery’s unique production technique of aging all of its wines in barrels, explore the process of wine making, bottling, and taste some delicious wines during your private tasting.
