Leonardo da Vinci self-portrait skip-the-line guided tour
An exclusive exhibition in Turin, the city that houses some of Leonardo's most illustrious drawings, will take visitors into the very heart of History and Beauty, showing them closely the “look of the Genius”. Architect, sculptor, painter, anatomist: the works kept in the Royal Library of Turin tell Leonardo da Vinci and his research between Science and Art through the tool of drawing. The Celebrations of the 500th anniversary of the artist's death will be a unique opportunity to admire up close the drawings purchased and donated to the Savoy family in the 19th century, which have become true works of art: from the famous "Portrait of a Girl", preparatory study of the angel of the "Virgin of the Rocks", to "Codex on the Flight of Birds", without forgetting the iconic and emotional Self-portrait, which with its face of extraordinary intensity and its precise trait identifies Leonardo in every part of the world, representing the world icon of the Renaissance par excellence.
