About this activity
Meet your guide at the Turin train station or other central location with your own vehicle, or - if you do not have your own car and would like a driver for the day - meet at an agreed-upon location to begin your wine tour.
Head out of Turin toward Alba, a famous Piedmont town known for wine and truffles. Visit local wineries to sample wines like Dolcetto, Barolo, Moscato, and Brachetto. Nibble on snacks from a platter of locally-made cheeses and meats while you sip (vegetarian alternative available upon request).
Learn why the Piedmont vineyards of the Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato are so special - they were named to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 2014.
At the conclusion of the tour, return to Turin.
