Our guide Guilia was a very pleasant and informative young lady. Apart from an extensive tour of the market with tastings we also got to see Turin Cathederal and a most interesting church off the usaual tourist track, Lunch was of local delecacies at a small workers cfe and whilst authentic was very tasty, Other viits included a historical coffee housewith tasting and speciality chocolate and ice cream makers, All on all this tour is a must if you want to see more of the real Turin rather than just the main tourist sites. Although the tour involves walking it is by no means arduous,ie I am 75 and managed quite well. Recommended.
This was an excellent tour, lead by the lovely Monica who was so well informed about not only the city, but the food and wine cultures from Italy. The tour covered so much ground and the food samples were all amazing. But definitely do not eat before the tour.......we were so full afterwards. Would highly recommend this tour and Monica - it was not only a great way to see the city and learn its history but was also a fabulous way to taste the city!
Monica was incredible she totally made the tour fantastic!!!!
Well-planned tour. Guide was very knowledgeable.
I can highly recommend Turin Food and Wine Tour!!We had all the amazing food and wine we could ever want. Our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable about the cuisine, sites and history of Turin. He took us to a lot of the more local places where we sampled the wine, food and desserts that Turin had to offer while soaking in the atmosphere and getting a history lesson as well. Would highly recommend it for people willing to try a bit more than pizza and pasta in Turin.
