About this activity
Our adventure begins by picking you up from the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez and then leaving in the direction of the Arroyo Negro farm, located on the V polygon, the El Triunfo biosphere reserve, in the municipality of La Concordia, Chiapas, dedicated to the production of coffee from Conservation, has been recognized twice by the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) as one of the 10 best coffees in the world, certified by Rainforest Alliance and by IMO control, is also the first producer to belong to the Common Code for the Community International coffee plantation (4C). The farm is a private reserve in ecological easement within the program of private lands of PRONATURA, with its own resources has conducted studies on flora and fauna of which 186 species of birds stand out, highlighting the quetzal, Pavón, tufted eagle, king vulture, etc. As for mammals, the jaguar, puma, kid deer, and the tapir of the latter stand out, the farm is the first to work within the Wildlife Management Unit (UMA) program worldwide.

We will have time to eat and later in the afternoon to know more about the farm and the processes and coffee plantations that are cultivated. We will make our first path "Pava Cojolita" to one of the viewpoints offered by the farm, where we can enjoy of the views towards El Cebu Hill. On your return we will have free time to live with some animals of the UMA and enjoy the night.

Later on the next day, in the very early morning, not before enjoying an exquisite cup of organic coffee at the same time, we will move to a point called "La Cascada" that feeds part of the Rio Negrito. "El Triunfo is an almost unreal scenario of Leaves that are always dripping because of the clouds that touch the ground.In its interior, along the trails, one walks among dense mists and the extraordinary beauty of tree ferns. " On the way we can observe different vegetation that changes as we go into the cloud forest. On our return we will take our breakfast to continue with another path, where we will have the opportunity to admire the diversity of birds and species that inhabit their natural environment and we will go to another control point so that with a little luck we can appreciate the flight of the eagles (Aguila de Penacho) and the dance of the Manakin Toledo. On our return we will enjoy our food and then we will make a slight walk along the path "Las Salinas" where you can see the landscape of the Río Negrito micro-basin. The return the next day will be after lunch, around 10:00 hours to move back to the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, arriving around 17:00 pm.
