Stop At: Mount Batur, Kintamani 80652 Indonesia
Following by pick you up in your hotel between 01.30 am to 02.30 am (depending on your hotel location) then drive directly to the base point of Mount Batur. After short briefing about safety procedure we will give you flash light, water and walking stick if required.
At 03.45 am we begin the hike to the top of Mount Batur. Approximately 05.45 am we reach the top and having breakfast with hot drinks. After watching sunrise we take few minutes to explore the whole crater to get most of experience.
We will finish the trek about 09.00 am then drive to visit luwak coffee plantation on the way back to your hotel.

Pick up and drop off at the hotel was easy. Our guide, Ricky, was caring and knowledgeable. The previous day, I had a terrible cramp on my calg of my right leg. Ricky was accommodating to us when we wanted a break. He kept checking on me which I think was excellent. We chose to take the harder route up and it was worth it. Ricky had prepared breakfast at the top and even got us the most amazing location to watch the sunrise. On the way down, he also explained and showed us various locations. A very big thank you to the crew who made our trip so wonderful!
I booked this tour through Viator with Mt Batur Sunrise trekking Tour. What a professional company to deal with! I did admittedly book a little late, but it was accepted and the confirmation came through with a follow up text and WhatsApp with all details of the pickup and drivers name. Our Driver arrived early at 1.00am to pick us up - Made Naris was a great driver and also he had taken care to ensure his car was very clean for his pickup! Lovely touch! He was friendly and accommodating. We were then met at the bottom of the mountain by our tour guide Dika - he was just great with us and our girls in that he was communicating with us all and was really informative with things about Mt Batur and the surrounds. I love hiking and i thought this hike was easy and spectacular. i would highly recommend our driver Made and tour guide Dika - they were awesome and can't speak highly enough of them!!
