Garuda Wisnu Kencana Culture Park situated on a limestone plateau in south Bali, high on the Bukit Peninsula, 300 meters above Balis shoreline. Focal point of this Cultural Park is the magnificent Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue that will reach a total height of 126 meters, weighing 3,000 tons, that will be taller than the Statue of Liberty in New York. The statue depicts Lord Vishnu mounting the mythical Garuda bird, as manifestation of the conscience of Amerta, the Perennial Goodness.

Is renowned for its magnificent location, perched on top of a steep cliff approximately 70 meters above sea level. This temple also shares the splendid sunset backdrops as that of Tanah Lot Temple, another important sea temple located in the island western shores. Kecak and Fire Dance is a Balinese dance which is influenced by Hindu religion and shown at night with circular forming dancers in Uluwatu Temple. Not known exactly where Kecak and Fire Dance originated, which was first developed but there are some kind of agreement on the Balinese Kecak was first developed into a performing arts in the village of Bona, Gianyar, as additional knowledge Kecak was originally a song or music that is resultant from a combination sounds that make up melodies that are usually used to accompany the sacred dance Sanghyang. And can only be staged in the temple. Then in the early 1930s by artists from the village of Bona, Gianyar trying to develop a Kecak dance by taking the story of Ramayana who danced as a substitute for Sanghyang Dance so this dance could eventually be displayed in public as a performance art. Part of the Ramayana story in which the first is taken as Goddess Sita was abducted by King Rahvana.
