1 day
About this activity
This tour will incorporate a quite long drive through winding road and over three hours trek through hundreds of steps on narrow path, various tropical plantations, jungle and bridge. You will also need to cross the rivers to get a closer look at the waterfall.
The drive will take you through winding roads and cool mountainous area of Bali. On the way to get there you will also pass several interesting spots like coffee plantation, Jatiluwih rice terrace and Bedugul with its beautiful view of Ulun Danu water temple. Depending on your hotel location, these additional stops can be taken on the way to the waterfall site or on the way back to your hotel).
Once we get to the waterfall site, we will start the 3-4 hours trek (shorter trek is also available) to explore the waterfalls and it's surroundings. After a few minutes walk through small roads, local people's houses, plantations and small river; you will be greeted by the first group of waterfalls. You can also see another group of waterfall on the far side (only one visible from the distance though there are actually three or more waterfalls there). Feel free to take a lot of picture here, you can also ask your guide to take picture of you with the waterfall as the backdrop.
To get a closer look at those waterfalls, you will need to cross the river. Don't pass up the opportunity to have a swim and take photos of these amazing waterfall !!!
Optional 3 hours trekking is also available if you fit enough and want to explore the area around the waterfall site.

Swimming in that natural pool was an amazing experience for us. It was worth doing a long hike. We weren't given the mineral water which we were promised for, everything else was good though.
