Lempuyang Temple or The Gates of Heaven is believed to predate the majority of Hindu temples on the island. Definitely a highlight on any travel itinerary for the fit and adventurous, the main temple lies at 1,175m above sea level, up on the peak of the namesake Mount Lempuyang in East Bali. The heights are reachable via a steep staircase of over 1,700 steps, with attractions along the way including several other temples and hordes of grey long-tailed macaques that inhabit the surrounding cool mountain forests.

Tirta Gangga Water Palace is one of the most popular Bali Places of Interest designed and constructed in 1948 by Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem (1887 - 1966), who was the last king of Karangasem. He was a remarkable man to say the least, not only because he was the architect of the water gardens but also because he helped with the construction of the gardens.

Ujung Water Palace is one of the most popular Bali Places of Interest located in the village of Seraya in Karangasem regency, its the sister site of Tirta Gangga, also built by the late raja of Karangasem. The complex consists of various large pools and historic structures set against a backdrop of Mount Agung and the eastern shoreline. The site suffered near devastation by showers of hot ash following the eruption of nearby Mount Agung in 1963 and also weathered an earthquake in 1979. Restoration efforts throughout the decades made way to its current splendor and it continues to appeal to both locals and visitors.

Virgin Beach can be said as one of the best beaches in Bali if you are looking for a less crowded beach. This beach mentions plenty of time on travel guidebooks, but only a few people who would like to have a visit it. Because of the Beach location very far away from most of the tourist site in Bali. The sand here isn’t pure white, it close to white rather than yellow also mixes with black-sand but well-known as a white sand beach, but that does not matter. Virgin Beach Bali still offer you cleanness, beautiful scenery, and clean seawater. Many small cafes are available at Virgin Beach Bali and sell good food and consider cheap to most people. Not only beach and cafe, but you also will be able to see Balinese traditional boat that uses by local fisherman. When you visit Virgin Beach Bali, and the weather is clear; you will see clear blue seawater and exceedingly delight to set your eyes and exquisite for swimming.

Tenganan Village is charming and has some very fascinating authentic traditional festival (ritual dances and gladiator) like Bali Aga of Tenganan often holds the battle between local youths. The people of Tenganan are skilled in the unique technique of weaving, called the double ikat, where the belief in the magical power of the fabric is essential in bringing out the beauty of the ikat cloth. There are some versions of story telling us the history of Tenganan Village, some say that the word Tenganan was derived from the word tengah or ngatengahang which means move to the inner area. This derivation of word was having a relation with the movement of the villagers from the seaside to a rural area, in which the position of this village is in the middle of hills, which are western hill (Kauh Hill) and eastern hill (Kangin Hill).
