Stop At: Wanagiri Hidden Hills, Jl. Munduk - Wanagiri, Wanagiri Indonesia
Standing at the vantage point of Twin Lake Buyan and Lake Tamblingan – separated by only a few acres of rainforest – this hidden hill has been developed into full-fledged playground with swings and bird nest perfectly overlooking the panoramic mountains, lush green trees and serene expanse of the Twin Lake. It’s a great place to take selfies and couple pictures like none other in Bali.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Handara Iconic Gate, Handara Golf & Resort Bali, Singaraja 81161 Indonesia
This iconic landmark is literally just an entrance gate to a golf club and resort but gained huge popularity due to massive exposure from travel bloggers and Instagram. Looking at different angles, the gate does give the impression of dignified entrance to a majestic temple, which probably explains why it stands at the top of travelers list as a must-have Bali photo.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Ulun Danu Bratan Temple, Jl. Raya Candi Kuning, Tabanan 82191 Indonesia
Built in 1633, this temple stands majestically at the edge of Lake Beratan where the Balinese present their offerings to water Goddess Danu (who coincidentally bears the same name and role in Celtic culture). The lake plays an integral part as the source of irrigation water in central Bali. Being a water temple, Pura Ulun Danu Bratan offers stunning highland and lakeside scenery which you can explore further by renting motorboat to roll around.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Jatiluwih Green Land, Jatiluwih Village, Tabanan 82152 Indonesia
This is the newer and bigger version of Tegalalang Rice Terrace which is also designated as UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Jatiluwih Rice Terrace lies at the upland area of Batukaru mountain range, 700 meters above the sea level in midwestern area of Bali. With over 600 hectares of fertile lands, trekking around these gently sloping terraces will give you a whole new definition of green.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Tanah Lot Temple, Jl. Raya Tanah Lot, Kawasan Pura Tanah Lot Desa Beraban, Kecamatan Kediri, Beraban 82121 Indonesia
This temple is hands-down one of the most popular destinations in Bali and renowned among the tourists as the most popular spot for overlooking sunset towards Indian Ocean. Tanah Lot Temple sits on the top of an offshore cliff, appears to be floating in the occasion of high tides. It also holds a status of high spiritual importance as one of the most revered Balinese Hindu temples, and occasionally visitors will see the locals holding religious ceremonies and organizing dance performances around the site.
