Join us as we go diving at the most famous shipwreck in the world: the USAT Liberty located in Tulamben.
The shipwreck is situated approximately one hour car ride from Candidasa. From Tulamben we'll walk directly from the shore and into the water.
The USAT Liberty, an United States Army cargo ship got torpedoed by a Japanese submarine in 1942. It was then dragged onto the beach in Tulamben, where it laid for about 21 years. In 1963 the nearby located volcano Mount Agung erupted, which moved the ship from the shore and into the water.
Today the USAT Liberty Wreck is home for fish, sharks, turtles and much more.
The dive is suitable for all levels of divers. Easy enough for beginner to enjoy, but at the same time hiding some thrilling creatures and fish that would excite even the most experienced divers.
Tour is for certified divers only and all inclusive, everything you need to bring along is a swimming suit, sun lotion and a smile!
