Ujung Water Palace is a park owned by the ancient Balinese kingdom which was built by Raja Karangasem during the reign of I Gusti Bagus Jelantik and has the title Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem. The park, which was built around 1901, was given the initial name of the Dirah Pool which means a dumping ground and, interestingly it was a dumping ground for people who mastered black magic and in 1909 the Karangsem king ordered two Dutch architectures named Van Den Hentz and the Architect China Loto Ang to help develop this pools into a resting place for the king and the family of Karangasem Royal Bali and also as a location for meditation and entertaining royal guests. Nowadays, Ujung Water Palace is known as a good spot to take a prewedding photo
