Goa Rangreng Waterfall And Countryside Trekking Tour

After picking you up from your accommodation, the driver will take you directly to the starting point of the trekking in our beloved village. The first place that we will visit is a small

water temple called '

Pura Taman Narmada'. The temple is surrounded by rice paddies. Here you can walk around the temple and take photos from any side.

There is also a small river nearby the temple. If you are lucky, you can see local farmer doing their activities in the rice fields, women do the washing and children taking a bath and jumping happily in the river, a typical Balinese childhood.

We continue the trek where now you can see beautiful landscape of rice terrace along with its famous

irrigation system. Walking along the rice fields you will learn how the local farmer grow & harvest the rice, prepare the land & manage the irrigation system.

After finishing the rice paddies trek, now you will walk down the stairs to get to the river. A unique bridge over the river is waiting for you for photos opportunities. The bridge is very unique as its supported by the root of two giant trees joining together. If you are afraid of height, we recommend you to avoid looking down the river from the bridge. Near the river, there is a small temple with holy water springs. Local people request holy water here for ceremonial purposes. You can use one of the waterspouts to wash your hand & face. The water is also safe for drinking directly.

Continue the trek we will need to walk up a few stairs. At the end of the stairs you will get another view of rice paddies. From this point, you have two options. The first is to continue the trekking through the countryside road, it will take around 30-45 minutes walk to get to the next stopping point. The second option is we can hop in the support car to get to the next stopping point, it's just around 10 minutes drive.

Now we will walk through a secret hidden path for around 10 minutes to get to '

Goa Rangreng' waterfall. You will hear the sound of the waterfall even before you see it as we are coming from the back side of the waterfall.

The waterfall itself is very unique unlike any other waterfalls you might have already seen before. You can swim and play with the water, just be careful as some of the rocks are slippery. You can also go to the top of the waterfall, there is a big cave where the water is coming through. Inside the cave, there is a small shrine and water spring used by local people for religious and spiritual activities.

After visiting the waterfall, we will take you to Kintamani for lunch overlooking the volcano and lake Batur. From there you have a

spectacular view of

lake Batur and also the view of active volcano of

Mt. Batur while enjoying your

lunch.
