Stop At: Luhur Batukaru Temple, Jl. Penatahan-Wongayagede, Penebel 82152 Indonesia

app. 10am) This 2 hour cycling trip with our electric bikes starts from nearby Batukaru temple (no temple visit) and takes you past beautiful landscapes to Jatiluwih where you cycle through its stunning center, guided by one of our experienced local cycling guides who happily shares his/her knowledge about this UNESCO World Heritage site. The road from Batukaru to Jatiluwih has some beautiful scenery but is very different from the central Jatiluwih area. We pass with the easy to use e-bikes by dense jungle, giant bamboo forest, local villages, rice terraces and vast valleys. Jatiluwih consists of more than 300 hectares of stunning nature, rice terraces and lush tropical vegetation.

(app. 12am) Lunch is Green Café and located in the middle of Jatiluwih. We serve a tasty authentic Indonesian lunch, fruit and soft drinks (upon request wine and beer can be added).

app. 13.30pm) After lunch set off from the starting point in the rice fields of Jatiluwih and walk through the rice fields and past rivers where you will see local farmers at work, beautiful natural surroundings and the most stunning rice terraces in Bali. Halfway through the trekking you literally go off the beaten path down to the river and through even more amazing natural terrain where no tourist ever comes. (app. 16pm) By the end you walk through the village where you bring a visit to a traditional Balinese compound where the local guide and farmer will explain you more about their traditional life.
