Stop At: Brahma Vihara Arama Buddhist Monastery, Banjar Tegeha Banjar, 81152 Indonesia

The temple is built according to Balinese architecture but by the many statues and details it is really a Buddha Temple.
In the back of the complex is the small version of the Borobudur, where the real one is located in Yogyakarta (Java) and is used as a meditation room. The new statues of Buddha overlook the temple, and there is also a gate, known as the gate to heaven.

Stop At: Banjar Hot Springs, Banjar Tengah, Buleleng, Singaraja 81152 Indonesia

The hot springs are located in the middle of a flowered garden and it is a nice place to relax, the volcanic spring water is 37 degrees Celsius. There are changing cabins and showers and there are lockers available.

Stop At: Munduk Waterfall, Munduk Indonesia

A nice waterfall in a jungle like surrounding, with the option to make a small hike to the Labuan Kebo waterfall.

Drinking local coffee (with local cake) and visiting the organic garden.

The "temple on the lake" is located in a big park surrounded by the Bratan Lake and gives you a nice walk through the park.

We choose the top one (highest location) and this a nice walk through the local nature with views over the valley to the waterfall with a little climbing but relatively easy to do.

Visit to the local market in Singaraja and if you want visit the Chinese temple in the old harbour of Singaraja.

This temple is special because of the history, there is someone available who will give you an explanation (in English) about the meaning and function of the temple. Although there is no entrance fee a small donation is appreciated.
