This tour has to be the highlight of my trip to Bali, in terms of a cultural experience, it provided everything I was looking for. I love to hike, be within nature, and I prefer to learn about a location through a locals perspective, and I felt this tour accomplished all of it. The tour operators were very hospitable, and my tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. My highlight of the tour had to be the lunch, because everything on my plate I saw in farms/forest we trekked through. My only negative would have been not being prepared. Based on the description, I had a different view of light trekking and I didn't realize the farm land we walked through almost looked like a jungle. While I was provided long pants and rain boots, we crossed through a river and some mud I would have liked to be more prepared. So my recommendation is to bring layers, long socks, a small backpack, and while a bottle of water is provided, I would bring another. I would definitely do this tour again!
